Corporate Fund-raising Activities

The Cedarwood Trust is happy to talk to companies who wish to support their work through fundraising activities and, potentially, support the fundraising activity, making it even more successful.

The Trust’s fundraising pack is free to download and contains many suggestions of activities, many tried and tested and some that we guarantee that you’ve not thought of.

We are a creative bunch at the Trust and we’re more than happy to work with local companies to identify activities that re-enforce your corporate message whilst generating resources for the continued work of the Trust.

What you will gain from supporting the Cedarwood Trust:

  • The opportunity to give back Community support and good will – People are more apt to support businesses they feel are part of their world
  • The opportunity to support a cause you and your staff can believe in, making a huge difference to the local community.
  • Company morale – This can boost company morale by bringing employees together to support something that is separate from the office Marketing and business strategy – This is a way for you to reach out and connect with community members on a different platform

Cedarwood Trust

What a week here at the centre.

We welcomed over 150 people to our first ever Cedarwood Panto with our friends at Blowin a Hooley and supported by the Stop Loan Sharks Team. We were delighted to be joined by the fantastic Jimmy Nail who came to view our performance this afternoon.

We have also had our AGM and annual Christmas light switch on which was heavily attended. Stalls, raffle and the big switch on by Kim Tserkezie.

We also say goodbye to our CEO Phil McGrath who leaves for pastures new. Phil has become well know for his passion to promoting a better world on the estate. Through his passion, kind heart, his dedication and his ability to overcome barriers has lead to some amazing work on the estate. We wish him the very best in his new role and thank you for all your hard work.

We welcome Wayne, our incoming CEO who joins the team in January and can’t wait to get started continuing the hard work the trust are dedicated in providing.
